CO2 emissions are not dropping quick enough. Therefore, cities and regions have a great responsibility to enable conditions for companies and innovators to come up with green innovations in order to find sustainable solutions for our common challenges - and a greener future.

Gain insights into how to support the international sustainable transition, how to improve green business competitiveness and strengthen European innovation at the Northern Connections Final Conference - Innovation Power Through Transnational Cooperation.

Inspirational keynote speakers, Dr. Tomas Kåberger, Professor, Chalmers University and Industrial Growth Executive, InnoEnergy, will elaborate on global outlook innovation and the climate budget. In contrast, Fredrik Hörstedt, Ph.D., Vice President Utilisation, Chalmers & Advisor to the European Innovation Council, will expand on how to stimulate challenge-driven innovation across national borders and exchange best practice experiences.

Clusters, cities, regions and knowledge institutions will discuss the benefits and obstacles regarding policy recommendations in order to tackle the climate crisis and community challenges, and foster continued business development, business closures and transnational cooperation to create sustainable development.

We will provide food for thought on how policymakers can contribute and enable a greener future. As such, we will present tools for bringing SME’s with solutions closer to the community challenges and fostering cross border collaborations and sustainable business growth.
