Malmö's construction sector needs YOUR help to become climate neutral! Opportunity to engage with Skanska and Ikano Bostad.

Malmö Living Lab Sustainable Construction

The construction sector accounts for more than 20% of Malmö's total climate impact. There is therefore a great need to find new, climate-neutral solutions that not only make Malmö more sustainable but also create a market for climate neutrality in the construction sector.

To help drive this transition, the City of Malmö has convened over 100 stakeholders from across the construction value chain to form LFM30 – a collaborative platform to develop and, most importantly, implement a roadmap for a climate-neutral construction industry. Many of the partners in LFM30 have committed specific projects to act as signposts in this transition, but achieving the ambitious goals that have been set will require innovative solutions to tough sustainability challenges.

Skanska and Ikano Bostad, two of the partners in the LFM30 initiative, are therefore seeking opportunities to collaborate with innovators from across Northern Europe.

This living lab will provide innovative suppliers with an opportunity to engage directly with Ikano Bostad and Skanska, with the potential to develop new partnerships and business.
